ORBI RBK50 AP Mode vs Router Mode

Hello,
Just a quick question.
I have an Orbi RBK50 system with two satellites. Just curious if I place the satellites and router in AP mode will I lose the Mesh network capabilities of the Orbi or will it continue to function?

I have another router I was planning to use due to better bandwidth monitoring capabilities, but didn't want to use the Mesh feature of the Orbi.
