What are file xfer speeds with a wired connection?
What is the size of your home? Sq Ft?
What is the distance between the router and satellite(s)? 30 feet is recommended in between them to begin with depending upon building materials when wirelessly connected.
What channels are you using? Auto? Try setting manual channel 1, 6 or 11 on 2.4Ghz and any unused channel on 5Ghz.
Any Wifi Neighbors near by? If so, how many?
Try enabling Beamforming and MIMO(MIMO may or maynot be needed) and WMM. Under Advanced Tab/Advanced Settings/Wireless Settings
- Wired connection works fine with full speed (110mb/s). Also i tried to connect my devices to Orbi satellite by wired and it works fine too. - My house is 1100 sq ft. But it doesn't matter. Because all devices were tested on the same table with the router. - All devices connected with 5GHz at maximum speed (866Mbps) - I also tried all 5ghz channels (36 to 48) - I tried the Beamforming, MIMO and WMM together or separately on or off. Note: I would like to say once again that i have never had such a problem with google wifi before. Is there any other suggestions I haven't tried?
