Orbi RBK50 dropping internet connection after firmware upgrade
My Orbi RBK50 has been dropping internet connection constantly even after upgrading to the latest firmware version 2.1.4.10. I've had to reset it by unplugging my modem (Surfboard SB6191) and the RBK...
Try the following. Power OFF the modem and Orbi system for 1 minute. Power ON the ISP modem and let it sync, usually 1 minute it should be ready. Power ON the Orbi router. Should see BLUE LED on top after it's connected. Connect up a wired PC and check for internet access.
Any other wifi neighbors near by? If so, how many?
Try setting manual channel 1, 6 or 11 on 2.4Ghz and any unused on channels on 5Ghz.

Distance between the Orbi router and Satellite? Feet?
