Orbi rbk50 has speed/connectivity issues causing constant streaming tv buffering

Been having issues with Orbi RBK50 which started right after the 2.7.3.22 firmware update.

Paying for gig speed.  On the previous firmware, my wireless speeds were constantly 800+.

Now, after the update, my speeds hover @340mbps upload, 680 download, with short spikes that take the speeds up to 740-800, but also down to low 100's.

Question 1:  Why the diffence (of 400+mbps) between up and download?

Is that normal?  Verizon does not seem to think so.

I've done a factory reset (or so I think).  All of my previous settings came back up tho.  And when I purchased the Orbi, I had to manually update the 2.2.1.212 firmware to get it up to date.  I did NOT have to do that manual update after doing the Factory Reset.

Question 2:  Did I do it right?  I just paper clipped the reset button until the flashing amber light.  Green light came on afterwards.  Then I did a new set up thru the app.

I've had Verizon out to the house, they replaced all of their equipment.  I am getting 1000mbps wired, but still only 200-400 wireless.  And my streaming tv buffers constantly.  My streaming tv service claims to only need 10mbps to run seamlessly.

Question 3:  Where is my problem?  I do weekly reboots on all of my equipment (ONT/routers/Tivo's), clearing all caches, etc.

Question 4:  Is there a safe way to undo the Firmware update to go back to the previous version that worked much better?

Thanks for the help!

Try doing a factory reset using the ERASE button on the RBRs web page under Advanced Tab/Administration/Backup.

Yes. I would first rest the streaming TV after setting up from scratch and before you re-load the saved config file and see if the problem continues prior to loading the config file.
