Orbi RBK50 speed only 20% of the line capacity
Hi! I have bought an Orbi Rbk50 because I have some dark spots at my house, but I have some issues regarding speed. I have a 500/500mbit internet connection, and I am close to that speed when I ...
No switch, the cables are connected directly to the Zyxel.
I have found the answer... The LAN cables installed inside the wall are Cat5, and therefor limited to 100mbit. I was pretty sure they where Cat5e, but no. I guess its time to call a electrician to change them.

Is there a switch inside the closet that connects to the Zyxel? If so what brand and model? Or do the cables connect directly to the Zyxel?
No switch, the cables are connected directly to the Zyxel.

I recommend you install CAT6 cabling. :smileywink:
