Orbi RBK50
I have Orbi RBK 50 in my large home with 4 satellites & also 3 outdoor RBS50y satellites.. all works well but thinking about upgrading to wifi 6 system. My concern is I don’t think the RBS50y works with Wi-Fi 6 system. I can’t seem to find an outdoor Wi-Fi 6 satellite. Do we know if netgear is working on one? Or a way around this? Thanks for the help.

There is no outdoor WiFi 6 RBS currently made by NG.
Others have posted about working on a outdoor case and putting a RBS WiFi 6 series indoor unit with in this case:

What are you using it for?
Reason I ask is that is one of the top rated/performing wifi 5 systems and should have quite a bit of capability.
Thats a lot of equipment/cost to ditch for upgrading to wifi 6.
And it should be fine ever streaming on quite a few 4k tv's as well.
So not sure what exactly you're doing or what speed internet you have.
I didn't notice much performance increase going from an RBK53 to a RBK752. There's a bit going to the RBKE963 but I'm not sure if even that was worth the cost.
- FabgregAspirantThanks for the info. It’s a large property (lake house). The entire home is smart & everything is connected. Internally no issues at all. There’s is some occasional issues outdoors if trying to stream tv at or near the dock. I just assumed Wi-Fi 6 would have been much improved to overcome these occasional issues. I’ve had this present setup for several years so just assumed it’s even better with Wi-Fi 6. But good to know though.

How far from the home is the dock?
We see it frequently where people are trying to reach to far even with the outdoor satellites. They do work well but they still need a good signal for the backhaul.
