Orbi RBR 20 - Download speed lies
Hey,
I've got an RBR 20 and a satellite. Live in a very small apartment in NYC. Am having an issue where I test the internet speed through the Orbi app and it says maxing out at 480mbps, but then when I actually go and do a speed test on the laptop or playstation and it says my download speed is about 9-20 mbps.
It can't be a distance thing, the router is on the other side of a paper thin New York apartment wall... I have port forwarding enables for the PS5. As of writing this at the only things that are connected to the wifi are my phone and laptop. All my phone, laptop and laptop give the 9-20 mbps speed as well, while the Orbi test still says 480mbps.
Is anyone else having similar issues or have any solutions?

What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too? What is the size of your home? Sq Ft?
What is the distance between the router and satellite(s)? 30 feet or more is recommended in between RBR and RBS to begin with depending upon building materials when wirelessly connected.

Try enabling Beamforming and MIMO(MIMO may or may not be needed) and WMM. Under Advanced Tab/Advanced Settings/Wireless Settings
Try disabling the following and see:
Armor, Circle, Traffic Meter. Daisy Chain, Fast Roaming, IPv6 and Set 20/40Mhz Coexistence to 40Mhz only. Save settings and reboot the router and satellite(s). Under Advanced Tab/Advanced Settings/Wireless SettingsOne User Experience/Configuration:
