The original Orbi models have an option in the web interface, Advanced Tab, Advanced Settings (at the bottom of the menu), Wireless Settings. (see attached image).
The "10" series are a diffrent product, and I am not confident that they have this same feature. (I don't have one, so I cannot check).
Perhaps it would be useful to know exactly which smart device this is. Manufacturers take great pains to warn customers IN BIG LETTERS, Must have 2.4G WiFi. If this were a TV remote and the package said, Must have 2 AA Batteries. no one would pay it any mind. C cells, D cells, and 9-volts will not fit (duh). Orbi systems provide 2.4G WiFi. The vast majority of products connect to Orbi systems They have no 5G radio chips in them, and thus cannot detect 5G WiFi signals. I have an entire box full of smart plugs, smart bulbs, security cameras, etc. my thermostat, bathroom scale, etc. that connected just fine.
Sorry for the rant. What is this device?
