Orbi RBR20 says it is offline on the app and has a magenta circle next to it.
I have restarted multiple times and have tried following instructions from other people with similar problems but to no avail. My ISP is fmctc (a local provider) and it was connected for a few minutes...

Some devices (such as my phone) can connect and use certain apps. But other phones in the house cannot connect and our family playstation and computers can find the wifi but it says there is a connection error.

What is the Mfr and model# of the ISP modem the NG router is connected too?
Is the Orbi system operating in Router or AP mode?
Have you powered OFF the ISP modem and RBR for 30 seconds, then back ON with the ISP modem and let it sync then power ON the RBR...wait for ready.
- JCH33KApr 06, 2020AspirantSo our internet comes in from the provider and goes into a POE, which then leads into our modem/router which for some reason has no brand name or any way to identify it. Then there are three Ethernet cables than run to their respective ports(for computers) and one that connects to the orbi. The modem/router has a green light saying it is supplying internet to the orbi. I do not know where the connection is lost

If your modem has a built in router, This would be a double NAT condition which isn't recommended. https://kb.netgear.com/30186/What-is-Double-NAT

Couple of options,
1. Configure the modem for transparent bridge or modem only mode. Then use the Orbi router in router mode. You'll need to contact the ISP for help and information in regards to the modem being bridged correctly.
2. If you can't bridge the modem, disable ALL wifi radios on the modem, configure the modems DMZ/ExposedHost or IP Pass-Through for the IP address the Orbi router gets from the modem. Then you can use the Orbi router in Router mode.
3. Or disable all wifi radios on the modem and connect the Orbi router to the modem, configure AP mode on the Orbi router. https://kb.netgear.com/31218/How-do-I-configure-my-Orbi-router-to-act-as-an-access-point and https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H7LOcJ8GdDo&app=desktopI would recommend trying option #3 first on your RBR...
