Orbi rbr20 up address issues with sats.
Hi all, for some reason today our two rbs20 satellites have gone bonkers. Both are fixed in magenta- purple and that seems to mean there is an up address issue! What could be the issue and any tips...
I would disconnect everything from the router, wired and wireless devices, accept for 1 wired PC.
Turn off the satellites.
Reboot the router.
Turn on 1 satellite and see if it will re-connect with the router and the top led will turn on BLUE. IF so, use the wired pc and a browser and log in to the routers web page and set up an IP address reservation for the 1 satellite. Save and apply.
Turn on the 2nd satellite and do the same.
If the satellites will not reconnect, try a reset on 1 satellite and then try to re-add it. IF you can, do the IP address reservation for the satellite. Do same process for 2nd satellilte.
