I am not getting more than 330 down when connected through the orbi. If I turn back on the wifi bands of the ATT router and connect to it, I'm getting 600/600 again.
Please explain in more detail how speed is being measured:
- Using the Speed Test feature on the Orbi router (or Orbi 'app')?
- Using a computer connected to the Orbi router with Ethernet cable?
- Using a WiFi device? (exactly which device is important). As plemans mentioned, the RBR40 is a WiFi5 (802.11ac) device. The newer AT&T router is probably a WiFi6 (802.11ax) device. A WiFi device (smart phone, laptop, tablet, etc.) connected to the RBR40 will achieve a slower speed over WiFi5 than if connected to the AT&T device over WiFi6.
