Orbi RBR40 Wifi Mesh System Optimization

Hello,

I just bought the Orbi AC2200 Tri-Band Mesh Wi-Fi System (3-pack) - White, the model number is: RBK43S-100NAS and the actual router name is RBR40

I want to get the most optimal performance, so please advise me the options I need to set.

1) I have a 2510 square foot house

2) The Orbi Router is connected to my modem via a CAT5E ethernet cable and is located on the 2nd floor in my Master Bedroom Closet (had no choice, that is where my panel is located)

3) Satellite #1 is located on the first floor in the Kitchen / TV Room. (1st floor)
4) Satellite #2 is located in my Guest Bedrrom that is next to my kitchen (1st floor)

5) I have multiple smart home devices; Ring, AC, Garage Opener etc etc

5) I have Fiber-to-Coaxial internet , 400 Down / 30 up

I have heard that these are the settings I should have on (+) and off (-), are these correct in my sitaution?

- Dasy Chain Topology
- Fast Roaming
+ UPnP
+ MU-MIMO
+ Implicit Beam-Forming

Also, I've noticed that my wife has trouble with her Macbook Pro connecting to 2g, for some reason it puts her laptop on 5G whichi is wrong

Can someone please suggest to me what I should turn off and on via my orbi router settings web page? Thanks in advance

Can you please describe the house wiring.  e.g. this "panel".  Is that simply where the ISP connection is located, or is it a hub for ethernet cables which go to various places in the house?

Locating two satellites in adjacent rooms is not typically a good idea.  Satellites need to be close enough to another Orbi for the 5G backhaul signal to be good enough ("blue ring" when they turn on), but far enough apart that their user WiFi signals do not overlap too much.  As a (very) rough "rule of thumb", most people start with the satellites 30 ft. from another Orbi and look at the ring light.  "Orange" means too far apart.  "Blue" means OK, and might be OK even farther apart.

"Daisy Chain" is enabled by default and is intended for the situation where one satellite is so far from the router that it cannot get a good connection but is close enough to a satellite that it can.  This does not seem to apply in your situation.

I would prefer to see the satellites farther from each other.  (I also would prefer the satellites to be connected to the router using ethernet cable, which is the reason for the question about "panel".)

I would use CAT6 or higher cabling.

What is the size of your home? Sq Ft?
What is the distance between the router and satellite(s)? 30 feet is recommended in between RBR and RBS to begin with depending upon building materials when wirelessly connected. https://kb.netgear.com/000036466/How-far-should-I-place-my-Orbi-satellite-from-my-Orbi-router
