ORBI RBR40 with two RBW30 Satellites and One Satellite won't connect after firmware update

I have an ORBI RBR40 Router and two RBW30 plug in satellites.  A couple of days ago I got a message on the phone app to upgrade the firmware and approved the upgrade.  Right afterward, the app told me that it could not recognize one of the satellites.  I went online and my NetGear account confirmed that the router and one satellite had upgraded to V2.1.4.16, and that the second satellite was no longer recognized.  I have reset the system both by going to Backup Settings on my PC and hitting the button to revert to factory settings, and by using the reset buttons.  After each reset attempt I tried to sync the router and the two satellites, but only the one satellite will sync.  Beyond frustrated at this point.  Any ideas for next steps?  I bought the system five months ago, so I am outside of my tech support window.
