Orbi RBR50 - System resets itself to factory configuration
My ORBI system has reset itself to factory default - unclear why, but system default network to factory name. It happened 2 times. I had to re-install the system, re-set passwords, re-set network...
How was the system FW updated? Manually or automatic?

The firmware is on the current version. After the first time this happened - the firmware failed to update, but after second reconfig - the firmware became current. I have seen similar issue on other similar vintage ORBI systems.
Any idea why this might have happened? I am hoping the firmware update hopefully resolved the issue.
I am not sure the firmware update policy. Whatever the default is probably is how it is set up.
After the first time the system renamed it self - I set up the new system and it tried to update the firmware which failed. I did not try it again. I have no idea if the system tried to update itself at some later point.
It was several days before the system reset itself again. It is possible that the system tried to update the firmware - rebooted and caused the reset.
When I set up system the second time, the firmware version was checked and it apparently was current.
