Orbi RBR50 - System resets itself to factory configuration
My ORBI system has reset itself to factory default - unclear why, but system default network to factory name. It happened 2 times. I had to re-install the system, re-set passwords, re-set network...
I am not sure the firmware update policy. Whatever the default is probably is how it is set up.
After the first time the system renamed it self - I set up the new system and it tried to update the firmware which failed. I did not try it again. I have no idea if the system tried to update itself at some later point.
It was several days before the system reset itself again. It is possible that the system tried to update the firmware - rebooted and caused the reset.
When I set up system the second time, the firmware version was checked and it apparently was current.
What FW version is currently on the RBR and RBS now?
RBR Firmware version 2.7.4.24
RBS has same version

Something you might manually update FW starting with the RBS first, then RBR lastly, using a wired PC and web browser.
