Orbi RBR50 + 2 Satellites - Working but new devices cannot connect
I've had my Orbi RBR50 router and 2 satellites for years. They work great and have about 30 or so devices connected. I have 1GB Xfinity internet coming through a Netgear CM2000 modem and then passing...
What channels are you using? Auto? Try Auto and 48 on 5Ghz. Or try setting manual channel 1, 6 or 11 on 2.4Ghz and 40 to 48 channel on 5Ghz.
You might try and use the Forget This Network feature on these devices, reboot them then try again.
As a quick test what happens if you change the WPA mode to NONE. Does these new devices connect then? Re-enable WPA2 and AES after testing. Turn OFF the RBS and any other devices temporarily while do this.
What is the size of your home? Sq Ft?
What is the distance between the router and 📡 satellite(s)?
