Orbi RBR50 + satellite
Updated my firmware to 2.1.4.16 and have noticed that I keep losing the the satellites on the systenm. Rebooting the router does not bring that satellites back online. I have to power off anf restart...
Is both router and satellites updated to recent FW?
I would factory reset the sateliltes, then factory reset the router and set it up from scratch. Hold the reset buttons until the top LED turns amber then let go. Wait for the WHITE led to pulsate slowly, then set up.
Disable MIMO, Daisy Chain and Fast Roaming.
Try manual channels 1, 6 or 11 on 2.4ghz.
Besure that placement distances between the router and satellite starts at around 30 feet to start.
Any other wifi neighbors near by?
Whats the mfr and model# of your ISP modem?
- Updated both. They are in the same spots that they have always been. No other Orbi systems in the neighborhood that I can tell. Stable for a couple of days before losing satellites. If it does it again I will try factory reset. Thanks
