NG is aware of this. You'll have to wait until NG fixes this.

Same problem here. I updated today then realised something was wrong. Subsequently found this thread. There's clearly a significant bug in this update so why wasn't it pulled earlier?

THe naming of devcies is confirmed and known and NG is aware of it. The impact of naming devices is really not a show stopper and more of an inconveience to users. Doesn't really impact operation or cause the system to fail, thus no reason to pull it.
Users will need to be patient, I presume the next FW update will have a fix.

I think Netgear you should really take a look at your release testing this is a basic error and could have been easily found.
