MSWENSON I'm having the exact same expereince with the same setup you have. I can get the RBR50 to work in AP mode for a short time and then I can no longer get access to the internet. All devices stay connected and I can get to the Verizon Router through the Orbi and the Verizon router can ping the internet.
I know the Verizon router allows external connections because others in the Verizon forums have gotten it to work with Google Mesh setups. Oner person who has gotten their Google Mesh to work turned on the DMZ function in the verizon router. I did that as well, but it did not cure the problem.
Hoping someone within the Netgear community might have a solution/suggestion.
