What is the Mfr and model# of the ISP modem the NG router is connected too?
I would power OFF the ISP modem for 1 minute. Factory reset the XR router and power it off. Power ON the ISP modem and let it sync. Then power ON the XR router and walk thru the setup wizard again using a wired PC and a web browser.
What is the size of your home? Sq Ft?
What is the distance between the router and satellite(s)? 30 feet is recommended in between them to begin with depending upon building materials when wirelessly connected.
What channels are you using? Auto? Try setting manual channel 1, 6 or 11 on 2.4Ghz and any unused channel on 5Ghz.
Any Wifi Neighbors near by? If so, how many?
Try enabling Beamforming and MIMO(MIMO may or maynot be needed) and WMM. Under Advanced Tab/Advanced Settings/Wireless Settings
Try disabling the following and see:
Daisy Chain, Fast Roaming, IPv6 and Set 20/40Mhz Coexistence to 40Mhz only. Save settings and reboot the router and satellite(s).
Use Domaintools.com/whois to see where that IP address is coming from.

I did check the configuration, set the channel to 6, and restarted it all. It ran fine for a few hours, then started again.

When I first installed the Orbi network, I had disconnect issues. Support was able to help me at that time. Now, I am on my own, since I did not pay for support. I tried to resolve it with a bunch of different recommendations, and nothing worked permanently.
I had two choices. Pay for support and on a regular basis, spend time with support and reconfigure the routers. I chose the alternative - I have replaced my Orbi equipment with a new mesh system from a different vendor. It took minutes to set up and immediately solved the problem.
Installing equipment that requires constant hand-holding and reconfiguration was not what I planned when I bought the Orbi system. Next time I pay big bucks for hardware, I'll read more reviews than the marketing pitches.
