Orbi RBR50 forgot password to main wifi, how do I reset?
I forgot the password to the main wifi. Do I need to do a hard reset to gain access again? Is there any other way?

If you can connect to the Orbi using an ethernet cable, the Orbi web interface can be used to change the WiFi password.
That assumes that you know the administrative password.
If either of these are "no", then a Factory Reset is the only way. It will be set back to the credentials that are printed on the product label (SSID/password).
