Sorry, FW = Firmware.
What is the model# of the ISP modem? Built in router here by chance?
Ianaglen wrote:Thanks. Presume FW is firewall. Nothing specific other than ISP which is Virgin Media - using their standard modem.
Can connect fine directly with Virgin Modem and everything working fine until this evening.
Will try the factory reset and set up wired. Could not re-set up using mobile app as said no internet connection.

Ok. What model Orbi system do you have?
So your ISP modem is a gateway already. So this will post a problem possibly in getting the Orbi system set up right.
Couple of options, See if you can have the modem/router bridged then you can use the Orbi system as your main router and wifi. Or, if the modem can't be bridged, use the modems DMZ feature for the IP address the Orbi router gets from the ISP modem. Or use the ISP modem as your main router, disable all wireless on the modem and configure the Orbi router in AP mode, conneting one of it's LAN ports to one of the modems LAN ports.

It has all been working fine for a year until today.
Currently there is a LAN connection between the Virgin Hub and the Orbi (Model RBR50). That has all been working fine.
I will try the factory reboot and hard wired setup tomorrow and see if that helps.
Thanks for your advice.

Well can be anything. Something may have changed on the ISP modem/router.
Let us know how it goes after the reset.
