Orbi RBR50 Issues with work/office VPN

I am having some issues with my Orbi RBR50 Mesh System with one RBS50 connected. Up until about a week ago I could connect to my office VPN through the Mesh system.  However for some reason I cannot...

The Orbi has no idea what users are actually doing when their devices make internet connections apart from:

  • Resolve a URL into an IP address.  If something interferes with the DNS process, there cannot be a connection.
    Such as Armor, Parental Controls, or the specific DNS server being used no longer resolving that URL.
  • Do Network Address Translation (NAT) and forward the connection request to the internet.  The Orbi has no idea what is inside an of the data packets.  Might be encrypted web access.  Might be VPN.  Might be anything.

 

Does the company VPN client create a connection log file that might explain where in the process it fails?
