Orbi RBR50 lost connection

My Orbi RBR50 (and RBS50) lost its connection and the LED on top is blinking white all the time. It is still shown in my modem with its name "RBR50" and its IP, but I can't connect using orbilogin.com or the orbi app. I tried a reset and a restart of the modem, but nothing happened. I changed the cable, also with no changes. At some point after the reset the power LED is green and the LED ring on top starts blinking. The "old" Orbi network shown on the orbi is nowhere to be found. Is it possible to apply a new firmware using the USB port for example?

    What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too?
    Be sure your using a good quality LAN cable between the modem and router. CAT6 is recommended. 

     

    Disconnect the RBR from the ISP modem and press the reset button for 15 seconds behind the RBR and then release. Have one wired PC connected to the RBR. After the top ring pulsates WHITE, try to log into the RBRs web page at 192.168.1.1
