orbi RBR50 not connecting with motorola mb8600 modem

Tyring to install a new Motorola docsis 3.1 modem (MB8600) and xfinity says it's recognized and onine but Netgear ORBI rBr50 won't bond it with. flashing green LAN light on modem instead of blue. Net...

Did you power OFF both modem and RBR first, the power ON the modem and let it sync then power ON the RBR? 

 

Besure your using good quality LAN cable. CAT6 is recommended. 

 

Possible a reset maybe needed on the RBR and walk thru the setup wizard.
