Orbi RBR50 on Spectrum Internet

I’ve used my Orbi RBR50 router (with 1 satellite) successfully since 2018 on Cox and AT&T internet services up to 1 gig. Now I’m moving to a home where I’ll have to use Spectrum for internet service - Cox and AT&T are not available. I’ve read that there have been compatibility issues with Spectrum.

Do those issues still exist? If so, what should I do to avoid or overcome those issues? (Not moving is not an option.)

    Where are you reading these things about incompatibilies? 

     

    Orbi is compatible with ANY ISP that provides an Ethernet RJ45 connection to the Orbi router.

    Can also depend on what ISP modem Orbi connects too. Signal Modem only devices are the best. Gateway ISP routers can cause some connection issues.

      Thanks - apparently I mis-read several posts on this and other forums. The compatibility issues are with Orbi modem/router combo systems. But if I use the modem provided by Spectrum, it should work with my Orbi router.
