Thanks for the quick response.
I have the satellite plugged into the router (RBR50)
The satellite (older version) have magenta/pink led
INVALID HW ID, USE DEFAULT ORBI as a device instead of a satellite.

You can cheat. Factory reset the satellite.
Then hardwire a pc/laptop into the satellite.
Its default ip address should be 192.168.1.250
from there you can manually update it and re-sync it to the system.

After reset and connected via ethernet to a laptop
The IP is 169.254.167.216 - it's a self assigned IP?

After awhile,
The network shows up as
IP address 192.16.1.128
Subnet mask: 255.255.255.0
Router: 192.168.1.250
But when I point to browser at 192.168.1.250
I get "500 - Internal Server Error"
