Hello, I have an Orbi RBR50. I was told I need Ports 4500, 500 and 123 open to have something work on it (hard wired). Is there a way to open these ports? Do I need a new router? I need a T-mobi...

It works plugged in directly to the modem, but my modem only has one outlet. It doesn't work from the router. Thanks!
Would like to confirm "I was told" by looking at the setup information for this device/software? What is it?
If a T-Mobile Extender works when plugged into the modem, it should work when plugged into the router.
Which model of extender is this?
(and what is the purpose of using an LTE product with the WiFi router?)

Thanks again. The T-mobile tech had me plug the "Cellspot" directly into the modem. It worked fine. Unfortunately, the modem only has one ethernet outlet. I have to plug the router into the modem. (I have really fast Frontier internet) When the cellspot is plugged into the router (Orbi RBR50), it doesn't work. The T-mobile tech said I needed those listed ports open. My cell phone works very poorly at home (for calls) without it. Everything but call quality is fine.

Thanks for the details. Let's review the setup instructions for this device:
https://www.t-mobile.com/support/coverage/4g-lte-cellspot-setup-and-help
The Orbi router does not block any UDP or TCP ports.
Notice "No port forwarding is needed." The T-Mobile device uses these port to open connections, not receive connections.
The next step is to verify that TCP ports are open.
Setup suggests using Windows PowerShell to check ports 123.500, and 4500. Here's what happens on my PC that is connected to an Orbi RBR50 & Spectrum cable internet:
So, "all good so far".
In addition, Internet searches for this cell spot and 'port forwarding' turn up numerous responses that no port forwarding is required.
Are you able to reproduce the same results with your Orbi router?
When you look at the Orbi web interface, Attached Devices page, does the T-Mobile spot appear on the list and say that it is 'wired' to the router?
