Orbi RBR50 Router Ports
Hello, I have an Orbi RBR50. I was told I need Ports 4500, 500 and 123 open to have something work on it (hard wired). Is there a way to open these ports? Do I need a new router? I need a T-mobi...

Thanks for your response! How do I put it on a DMZ? I looked it up, but I'm still unsure how to do that.

On the Orbi RBR50, the web interface is used for this. See page 68 of the user manual:
https://www.downloads.netgear.com/files/GDC/RBK50/Orbi_UM_EN.pdf
This requires that you first learn the IP address of the T-Mobile device from the Attached Devices display.
The manual does not mention this, but it is a good idea to take steps to ensure that the T-Mobile gets the same IP address every time the router is restarted (power outages, moving it around, updating firmware, etc.). This is done by entering the hardware MAC address (from the Attached Devices page) into an entry in the LAN Setup page. See page 73 of the manual. Most of us prefer that reserved IP addresses are not in the range of addresses used for the DHCP "pool".
I see no problem with putting the T-Mobile device in the Orbi DMZ. I am simply confused as to what would keep it from working when connected to the router.

Thank you so much! I turned off wifi on my phone and I have 5G! I'm just going to return the cellspot. I can't seem to make it work, but maybe it was making my cell connection worse! I really appreciate your time to help me out. I didn't understand why it wouldn't work connected to the router, either. My hard-wired computer attached the same way works fine (it came from HP without wifi!).
