I upgraded to V1.9.12 over the weekend. I did a full reset afterwards and had to setup the Orbi back in AP mode again. I had to cycle power a couple times before things synched up finally.
I see the same bug with the number of satellites changing from 0 to 1, when 1 satelite is connected.
In AP mode the router will turn magenta when Internet connectivity is lost. AP mode uses the Orbi Internet port to reach the Internet so this port must be connected to a LAN port on your home router. If you move the cable from the Orbi Internet port to the Orbi switch port it should turn magenta, because you've disconnected the path to the Internet.

When in AP mode it should not need to be in the internet port. The unit is not being used as a router just a switch. The unit works just fine with the LAN in the switch port just the LED shows a problem.
Sure hope they fix the issue with the next update.
