What device sits between the RBR50 and the Internet? Some ISPs like to supply combined modem-ONT/routers.
...or do I have to buy the WIFI points that you get from Odido itself.
Kind of suggests that they may have provided a router combination.
A computer downstairs on the ground floor achieves 'only' 450 GB/s via WIFI, not the 939 GB. What could that be?
You will never get a WiFi connection that delivers that wired speed. There is always some "overhead", not least all of the walls and floors between the WiFi source and the client, your PC.
Depending on the WiFi client 450 Gbps is pretty good, better than many people get with wired devices and a slow ISP.
Too outdated? Will it work if I buy a new Orbi system (nicely expensive) ....
The RBK bundles do date back to 2017. So not exactly the newest kids on the block.
But a new system probably won't have WiFi so much more powerful that it can penetrate too many layers of reinforced concrete.
