Because the RBR50 was one of the top of the line AC systems when it was released and continues to be even to this day?
I've had one since it came out and its been rock solid for me in terms of performance/stability/reliability.
Maybe you had an issue the first time you set it up and the factory reset cleared it. not sure. I'm sure you wish you'd have done it sooner :)
