Orbi RBR50/RBS50 - Cannot downgrade firmware
My Orbi is currently at firmware version 2.5.0.38. Well... the whole "device naming fiasco" is driving me nuts, so I came here for answers. Looks like the consensus is to live with it or downgrade ...

Thanks to both CrimpOn and FURRYe38 for your replies.
What ended up working for me was to use the web interface on a laptop hard wired to each satellite. After both satellites were downgraded, I successfully downgraded the router.
I'm back to firmware version 2.3.5.34 on all 3 devices now.

You only need to downgrade the RBR. You can use v34 as well.

Looks like the consensus is to live with it or downgrade to firmware version 2.3.5.30.
Tried downgrading my satellites first and got the 400 Bad Request message.
Came back here for answers. I am using the web interface, NOT the app.
The concensus was to factory reset, configure from scratch, and downgrade.
I did that and still got the 400 Bad Request message. Still stuck at 2.5.0.38.
Now what? Please tell me I don't have to live with this version.
