Orbi RBR50V2 permanent flashing white light
I have done what I thought was a factory reset on the RBR50V2 unit. I wanted o connect the units ( incl two satellites) to a new network as AP's. The main modem unit has not been able to go beyo...

I have been through this loop a few times. I tried it again just in case. The Orbi wifi doesn't appear so unable to connect to it. A cabled connection doesn't get the login screen at all via 192.168.1.1.
Is there a more definitive factory reset on the PCB at all? One that doesn't reply on some software polling the switch etc?
Other ideas and suggestions appreciated.
Try a 30-30-30 reset on the RBR.
If this fails to bring up the beginning setup wizard web ui at 192.168.1.1, then possible the RBR maybe faulty and needs replacing.
Apologies for not knowing but what is a 30-30-30 reset?
If it has failed to do a reset and fallen over permanently then that is a real problem. It is out of warranty so it has turned itself into nothing more than an expensive paperweight. Not great.
Thanks for this. I have tried it and at least the power LED is flashing red now, didn't do that before. Maybe there is life left in it yet.
I will leave it pondering on life for a while, red power light and white light t the top have been flashing away for 10 mins now.
