What Firmware version is currently loaded?
What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too?
Be sure your using a good quality LAN cable between the modem and router. CAT6 is recommended.
What is the size of your home? Sq Ft?
What is the distance between the router and 📡 satellite(s)? 30 feet or more is recommended in between RBR and RBS📡 to begin with depending upon building materials when wirelessly connected.

Ensure laptop wifi drivers are up to date.
Ensure that the laptop IS connected to nearest RBR or RBS. If it's connecting to the farther RBR or RBS, speeds would be seen as lower.
Check the connection rate on the laptop when it's connected to the RBR or RBS.
Turn OFF the RBS and take the laptop to near the RBR and run your speed tests there. 6feet distance should be good.
Depending on device support and design, wifi speeds top out at around 300 to 500 on 5Ghz AC.
When was the last time the entire system was powered OFF for 1 minute then back ON including the modem?
