Orbi RBS50 intermittent ethernet port drops
It appears that my one RBS50 is dropping ethernet connectivity intermittently. I am running out of ideas to try and fix this. The problem: Randomly, network connection to devices wired via patch ...
A few questions:
1) Do all the ethernet ports on the RBS exhibit the same issue?
2) Are your using wired or wireless backhaul?
3) Do you have another RBS to swap out for the offending one?
This truly sounds like a hardware issue. Not aware of anyone else in forum having similar problem with sat ethernet port.

This seems to be what I am also finding.
As for your questions:
1) I believe so. I wired to two ports for a test and both dropped at exactly the same time.2) Wireless. I have no way to test wired.
3) Nope, sadly not and buying another satellite costs almost as much as a three pack!!!!!!

This seems to be what I am also finding.
Note that the ultimate cause in that thread turned out to be a misbehaving wired device (FireTV recast) causing network connectivity issues to other devices wired to that same satellite.
So in your case, how many and what are the device types for what you have wired to your misbehaving satellite?
As for the misbehaving Fire TV on the other thread I have a pretty good idea that that is not at play here.
Currently have my laptop and network streamer wired in.
I have another network streamer from the same brand and generation wired into the other satellite and it never drops.
I do remember the same thing happening when I just had my laptop wired in. And it also happened when I just had the network streamer wired in.
