Hello I have a RBS50 and for the last month and a half I have had major troubles with our mobile devices. The internet will not work on our cell phones, but will the laptop. Is there anything...

It says ORBI16 with full bars and connected. network speed 866 Mbps, security WPA2 PSK, then the ip address.

Well this is just nutty. According to the phone, it is connected to the Orbi at 5G, with a very high communications link rate. It should work.
What happens when the phone is connected to a different WiFi system? (not cellular data)
(perhaps a friend, neighbor, coffee shop, work?)
Does this Orbi have Guest access enabled?
Being a long time tech-nerd, I have a number of Android apps on my phone which can be used to examine network issues, such as:
- Fing
- NetAnalyzer by Jiri Techet
- Network Tools from Hurricane Electric
The first thing I would do is use one of these tools to 'ping' the Orbi router (usually 192.168.1.1). If that works, ping some internet URL, such as 1.1.1.1 (CloudFlare DNS server) or ford.com.
There was an obscure problem with Domain Name Servers many months ago, but my memory is that it affected all devices on the network, not just some of them.
Are there any smartphones in the house that work correctly?
