Orbi Router Connected Device Speeds
I currently have an RBR50 and RBS50 setup and enjoying decent speedtest results for mst devices. For example, my mobile phone enjoys 200+ Mbps wirelessly regardless of whether connected torouter or satellite. My ISPprovision is 250Mbps.
However. my laptop PC, which I only acess remotely via RDP, resides with lid closed beneath the router. The router physically sits on top of the lid of the PC, so in close proximity. The PC is connected wirelessly to the router and only ever enjoys speeds of <100Mbps. I can never enjoy speeds over 100Mbps.
Is this an issue with being too close to the router? Note all LAN ports of the router are used for other purposes

Depends on wireless adapter installed in PC as well.
I recommend placing the router a bit farther away. Say 3 feet.
You can add a NON Managed switch to the back of the Orbi router to add additional LAN ports as needed. I use a 24 port with mine.
