Orbi Satelite Daisy Chain
The new firmware enable daisy chain, satelite to satelite. But will it supports above topology?
There is no way to control the topology, the devices decide for themselves what to route through. With the current firmware it makes some strange choices. Mine initially, with two satellites, correctly routes the furthest one through the one closest to the router, but after a few minutes it reverts to star topology, even though one of the satellites is too far away from the router to get a 5GHz backhaul. Netgear support have told me there is a beta firmware that might help, I'm hoping it allows manual routing selection.
