Plug it in, will not stop pulsing white. Tried reset and nothing changes. Can't sync until that pulsing white goes away.
According to Netgear's web site, "Pulsing White" means "applying a configuration or updating firmware."

Is this a "brand new RBS50 or purchased used"? If it is brand new, you can call Netgear within 90 days of purchase for "complimentary support."
When you did the "Factory Reset" did the power LED do as it does in the video?"

it was purchased used . so as soon as you plug it in, it flashed white on and off and doesnt stop. when i push factory reset, the power led does not turn amber and flash like video, and the led ring just keeps on flashine white.

One user reported an undocumented method for resetting an Orbi:
Press paperclip in reset hole for 30 seconds
Keep pressing paperclip while removing power
Keep pressing paperclip for another 30 seconds while apply powerIf that doesn't work, you can try the "Trivial File Transfer Protocol" (TFTP) method:https://kb.netgear.com/000059633/How-to-upload-firmware-to-a-NETGEAR-router-using-TFTP-client This is not for the faint of heart. After downloading and unpacking the satellite firmware from Netgear's support web site, these directions will "push" firmware directly onto the Orbi and then restart it.

Gave the reset method a try and no change. Luckily I bought it with 100% free return and shipping....so back it goes! Thanks for the ideas.
