Orbi Satellite with non-Orbi Router

Question

Can an Orbi satellite be hooked up with a Netgear router?

The Satellite is: Netgear Orbi Satellite RBS20 for indoor use only

The Router is: Netgear AC1900 Cable Modem Voice Router, Model: C7100V

I was trying and they weren't connecting. It would be good to know if it's even doable before I try more...

The router is hooked up and working fine.&nbsp; I just want to be able to add the satellite to it, if it's compatible.

No. it won't work.&nbsp;The only satellites that work without an orbi router are the RBS40V and the RBS50Y as they have an extender mode.&nbsp;
