Orbi Setup
I have a Spectrum modem and it is connected to a Netgear Nighthawk router. I would like to expand my wifi coverage in my home and was looking at the orbi. I was wondering how the orbi would be hook...
No, the Orbi does not use the WiFi of another router as it is not a extender.
If you are using particular features of the nighthawk as a router that the Orbi doesn't have then you could just turn off the Wifi in the Nighthawk and use the Orbi as an Access Point. But, really I would recommend go with the simple setup and just sell the Nighthawk and replace the router with the Orbi.
