Orbi Slow Wifi Speed with xfinity Gigabit

Hello,  I upgraded to xfinity gigabit today and have made zero adjustments to my wifi settings.  I am only getting 12 Mbps on my iPhone 7. My iMac is getting 860.  Access control is off, WMM is off...

    Factory reset the Orbi. Did all of this with the new modem off. Now getting 300+ Mbps on these.

What Firmware is currently loaded?
What is the Mfr and model# of the ISP modem the NG router is connected too?

 

Try enabling Beamforming and WMM. Under Advanced Tab/Advanced Settings/Wireless Settings.

Brand New Motorola MB8600.  DOCSIS 3.1 

 

Firmware V 2.3.5.30

 

Enabled WMM and Beamforming.  Waited a few miniutes and still getting only 12 Mbps download and getting 20Mbps upload.

    And the ping is 8ms on my iPhone 7 when running speedtest through the speedtest app

        Sounds like a misconfiguration. Glad the reset worked.
