Orbi SSID
Hi. I am considering buying an Orbi. I read one single Wi-Fi name. Could I change that for both bands and have for example Orbi-2.4GHz (for 2.4GHz) and Orbi-5GHz (for 5GHz devices)?

Hello jweaver0312
no orbi does not allow you to separate out the the SSIDs. Your devices will connect to the best available connection when on orbi.

Ok. Thanks. I was hoping it would and would be nice if it would.

There is, however, a workaround which will separate the two networks (link below), but it is not officially recommended.
