Orbi stops working
I have been using my Orbi since April / 2017 without major problems, but tonight the system just stopped to work and the lights turned magenta. Turned on and off and now I can't see my WiFi network an...
Thanks for your answer! I tried to follow the steps, but the problem is on my router. I can't get it connected using an ethernet cable... I can connect to the satellite, but the problem is that I can't access http://orbilogin.com from there.
Looks like there is no way to update the firmware on my router and I will try to stop by best buy to check if I got the extended warranty from GeekSquad.
I will keep you guys posted.

- Nope... The Ethernet is not working on my router. Looks like the only thing that is working is the green led on the back... I can't reset, I can't connect on Ethernet... Nothing. Bad news for me, I didn't get the warranty at the Best buy and will have to rely on Netgear for that. Now, I'm about to travel for vacation .. kids at home and I need a wifi solution, and honestly, I can't even consider to buy another Orbi after all of this... im not expending another USD 370 in a system that let me down in less than one year. Frustrating...
I would contact NG support and ask about an RMA if geek squad can't help you. Something is going on with your router.
- Thanks for your tips, I really appreciate it. I decided to get a new mesh network (EERO PRO) after hearing about all problems and returns of Orbi System. It is sad, because I just lost 370 and I was always a Netgear supporter... I will try to reach them out and see what they can do with this defective unit and if they fix it, I will probably give it to a friend of mine.
