There are several active threads about how well Orbi supports gigabit speed.  Mine certainly does 250mb with no trouble.

 

Technically, Orbi does not have a "bridge" mode.  Is the ISP suggesting a "modem only", or a combination "modem/WiFi/router"?

I would place the ISP modem in bridge modem and Susie my ORBI to provide wi-if.
