Orbi Triband question
Will this router split up the incoming bandwidth to make little, carved up dedicated bandwidths for each device? If so will this increase or decrease my overall WiFi speed?

im not exactly sure what you are asking but as far as i know there are no bandwidth limiting features on the orbi so what you are asking for isnt possible
you actually wont find actual bandwidth limiting capability on many stock firmwares apart from asus routers , gargoyle firmware cab also do bandwidth limiting on some routers but its not available for the orbi
standard QOS doesnt do bandwidth limiting as its just a priority based on demand system that cant and doesnt normally do as you want

to the second part of your question what do you mean by improve your overall WiFi speed ? are you talking about speed of the internet or speed of your actual sync to the orbi system

correct but you only have the choice of ether the
@2.4 gig @400M
or
@5 gig @ 867M
as the
1733M is specifically used only for its own back haul connection
