Certificate Expired

This is the famous "SSL Certificate" issue that Netgear messed up in August 2019 and has yet to fix. Basically, Netgear let the SSL Certificate (from Entrust) expire and had no method to replace the certificate in Orbi firmware except to create an entirely new download of firmware. They finally decided to create their own certificate, which many browsers refuse to "trust" since it is self-signed.
The solution is to connect to the Orbi with a web browser to http://orbilogin.net rather than httpS://orbilogin.net.
Please explain more about the other issues.
