ORBI UI Keeps Making me Login over and over?
Hello...I have an ORBI RBR50 and login into it at orbilogin.com
But when I do it keeps making me login over and over and over again...everytime I try to do something...then if I am lucky it will let me poke around for a bit and then happen again. Very irritating. Has anyone else had this problem and is there a work around?
Thank you
Mike

What Firmware version is currently loaded?
What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too?
Be sure your using a good quality LAN cable between the modem and router. CAT6 is recommended. What browser are you using?
Does the happen with other browsers?Be sure to clear out all browser caches before entering the RBRs web page.
Has a factory reset and setup from scratch been performed since last FW update? A complete pull of the power adapters for a period of time after the factory reset then walk thru the setup wizard and setup from scratch with a wired PC and web browser. https://kb.netgear.com/22697/How-do-I-install-my-NETGEAR-router-using-the-router-web-interface
Recommend setting the default DHCP IP address pool range to the following after applying and a factory reset: 192.168.#.100 to 192.168.#.200.

I would power OFF the ISP modem for 1 minute. Factory reset the Orbi router and power it off. Power ON the ISP modem and let it sync. Then power ON the Orbi router and walk thru the setup wizard again using a wired PC and a web browser.
Press the back reset button for 15 seconds then release.

Here are my answers to your questions.
1) Firmware Orbi Version V2.7.4.24
2) My Modem/Router - (Midco) HITRON - Model COD4582 - In Modem mode----->ORBI ROUTER
3) Google Chrome & Firefox - happens in both
4) Using Lan cable that came with Orbi
5) Test in other browsers (see above)
6) Clear out browser cache (done)
7) Yes...factory reset completed
I just don't understand...I have to login 3 times before I can even change any settings.
Let me know what ya think...and thank you for replying đ

FW version is behind.
Try using MS Edge if you can.
Recommend taking your PC and updating the RBS using there web pages first then RBR lastly. Once the FW is updated on the system, factory reset the RBS first by pressing the reset button for 15 seconds then release. Then soon after, I'd use the RBRs web page to factory reset it by using the ERASE button:

Then setup from scratch with a wired PC and web browser. Be sure to clear out ALL browser caches before going to 192.168.1.1 to set up the system. https://kb.netgear.com/22697/How-do-I-install-my-NETGEAR-router-using-the-router-web-interface
Recommend setting the default DHCP IP address pool range to the following after applying and a factory reset: 192.168.#.100 to 192.168.#.200.

This is my experience as well. The Orbi web interface definitely has an activity timer. I have not spent any time investigating, but my impression is that some parts of the web interface "time out" more quickly than others. (The Attached Devices page, for example, seems to pop up the login box more quickly than other pages.) This behavior is especially irritating to me because I often have another tab open in the web browser where I am typing a response to a post on the forum and the login box just pops up while I am typing -- and I type over the contents of the damn box and have to clear out and reenter everything.)
Because my Orbi web password is long and complicated, my work around is to have the web browser remember the Orbi login. That way, when the login box pops up, "admin" and the password are already filled in, so I just hit the Enter key.
Is this "secure"? Probably not. The alternative is constant irritation.
