Orbi USB port

Can I use the USB port to connect a USB scanner?  Right now I have a LONG usb cable connected to my pc, would be a much shorter, cleaner run to the Orbi.

I believe the USB port is for storage devices only.

I believe it is just for printers at the moment, at least it was last year.  Its not supported for Readyshare storage yet, seems kind of strange they have never really fleshed out the USB functionality.  It seems like an afterthought on this router, and it is USB 2.0.

Ya, seems like USB 3.0 would be better for Storage. Thanks for posting this. I'll keep this in mind. I presume future will get storage going.
